A special-purpose railway for the aeroexpress train from the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don and the new Platov Airport will be built in the Rostov region.
As the regional press office told Construction.ru, it will be a separate and additional project to the roads which are being laid at the new modern airport.
In particular, the construction work on two roads is now underway and is scheduled to be completed in May 2017. The first will pass from the “Don” M-4 motorway, and the second will connect the airport with the northern bypass of the city of Rostov-on-Don.
As for the railway, the authorities are carrying out negotiations with a potential investor.
