A businessman who misappropriated over 20m roubles during the construction of a snowboard trail has been detained in Moscow.
The head of the “EnergoGroup” PLC, Yuri Plotnikov, won the tender for the construction of a snow trail located in Novo-Peredelkino
According to the investigators, Yuri Plotnikov stole the project from the company, building a similar snow trail in the Sverdlovsk region. When the equivocation was exposed and the customer demanded the return of his money, it became known that the entrepreneur had spent all of the money.
Mr. Plotnikov was put on the wanted list, but it was only recently that the police managed to detain him.
