Reconstruction of Norilsk Airport and it runway will begin on the 1st of June.
12.6 bln roubles will be allocated to ensure the execution of work at the construction site, the press office of the Krasnoyarsk region told Construction.ru. Repair work and upgrading will be carried out under the conditions of routine operations at the airport.
This year the builders will reconstruct 720 m of runway, and in 2017 to 2018 they will upgrade 2,280 m more. The project will be financed mostly within the framework of the realization of the federal target program entitled “Transport System Development of Russia 2010 – 2020”.
The “Norilsk Nickel” company will also allocate 3 bln roubles for this purpose.
