On Monday, the governor of the Omsk region, Viktor Nazarov, accepted the resignation submitted by the regional Construction, Housing and Utilities Minister, Maxim Mikhailenko, two months after his appointment.
Maxim Mikhailenko, nominated by the Communist party, became the head of the Ministry following the results of the candidates’ competitive selection, the press office of the regional government told Construction.ru. He has worked in this capacity for just two months.
The official himself refused to comment on the reasons for his dismissal, but he made an attempt to reject the position right before the appointment.
The previous Construction, Housing and Utilities Minister, Bogdan Masan, also occupied this position for no more than two months.
