115 km of the pipeline have been built at the construction sites of the “Power of Siberia”: 86 km on the “Chayanda-Lensk” section and over 29 km on the “Lensk – Olekminsk” section.
This is what the deputy chairman of board of directors of the Russian gas monopolist, Vitaly Markelov, told reporters on Thursday in Moscow. According to him, a total of 400 km of the “Power of Siberia” line pipe is planned to be built this year.
Gazprom has halved its forecast on the “Power of Siberia” construction in 2016 due to cost optimization. However, it hasn’t changed its plans on the object's commissioning schedule.
Also, Gazprom intends to extract and sell 452 bln cubic meters of gas this year.
