A 5-storey building has been built in sector A of the “Volgograd – Arena” stadium, the press office of the contracting company told Construction.ru on Tuesday. In addition to this object, 3-storey buildings have also been erected in other sectors.
In-situ concreting work has been completed as well – over 100,000 m3 out of 112,000 m3 of concrete has been cast, and the stadium’s supporting structures have been erected. The construction of all storeys is now finished.
According to the schedule, in-situ concreting work is to be finished in July. The internal and external staircases and the stadium stand are planned to be completed by that time.
Upper balcony construction has started in all of the stadium’s sectors, and the concreate casting of the ground floor is to be finished soon.
