The prosecutor’s office of the city of Chelyabinsk has demanded the initiation of a criminal case against the leadership of the “Greenflight” construction company for disruption to the commissioning time of more than 20 multi-apartment buildings.
“Greenflight” LLC is a building developer working on 29 houses in the “Academ Riverside” residential district, the regional department of the supervisory body told Construction.ru on Thursday.
In addition to that, “Greenflight” embarked on work at the construction sites of two houses in the Kalinin and Central districts of Chelyabinsk. Between June 2013 to April 2016, the company concluded 4,600 contracts on co-funded construction totaling 9.2 bln roubles.
As a result, out of 29 houses under construction, the commissioning times have been extended on 17, and the building of one house has been frozen.
At the same time, the investigation check showed that the finances available to the company were sufficient to carry on with the construction. This means that certain persons must have embezzled money.
