Over the past year, nearly 200 families in need have been resettled from unfit housing in the capital of Chechnya, Grozny, the city administration’s press office told Construction.RU.
In December, the city residents were moved from their dilapidated buildings into newly built 7-storey houses located on Uzkokoleiny Side-Street in the Oktyabrsky district. However, some of them asked if the deadline could be moved due to the complexity of changing schools and nursery schools in the middle of the academic year.
At present, large-scale demolition of six unfit colleges has started, and 11 units of special vehicles are being exploited. A total of 30 dilapidated houses are to be demolished.
