On Wednesday, operatives from the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia arrived at the Opera and Ballet Theatre in the Russian city of Chelyabinsk and conducted investigative actions. The officers seized the necessary documentation.
A criminal case over the receiving of a bribe by a group of people has been initiated against the deputy director and chief engineer, the press office of the regional Investigative Committee told Construction.ru.
According to the investigators, over the period of 2015 to 2016 the responsible executives have received at least 200,000 roubles in bribes from the head of a commercial entity.
In exchange for that, they signed work completion certificates during the theatre’s reconstruction for work which in reality didn’t take place.
