Any problem with the construction of the Kerch Bridge is ruled out, the press office of the Construction Ministry of Russia told Construction.RU today.
However, the Ministry’s representative admits that the funds for the project implementation have already been allocated from the federal budget, but the financing won’t start until the state contract is transfered to treasury maintenance.
The relative documents have been submitted to consideration to the Russian government. Changes to the documents are expected to be approved by the end of June, when a contractor general will be able to get a full access to the documentation.
Today, on the 8th of June, Forbes citing the letter of SGM director general, Andrei Kirilenko, reported that the Kerch Bridge construction project allegedly faces financial troubles. However, the press secretary of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, said that in case there were “wrinkles”, the government would settle them in the near future.
We should remind you that the Kerch Bridge construction project is one of the top priorities in Russia.
