Additional RUB 11 bln to be allocated to road building in Moscow

11 bln roubles more will be allocated to Moscow targeted investment program for road construction in the districts recently adjoined to Moscow, Head of the Department of New Moscow Territories Development, Vladimir Zhidkin, told reporters on Monday.




He emphasized that it is Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, who took a decision to allocate additional funds for roads building over the next two years.

Vladimir Zhidkin specified that four roads are scheduled to be built: from Moskovsky town to “Salaryevo” metro station, around Troitsk to the Kaluga highway, and two roads from the Ryazanovsk village to railway of the Kursk direction.

Earlier, 34 bln roubles was budgeted for the road construction in the new Moscow territories in 2016 – 2018. Approximately 137 km of roads altogether are planned to be built, noted Mr Zhidkin.
