On Thursday, the delegates of the Chelyabinsk regional legislature made amendments to the law on the region's road fund, according to which, local residents and businessmen would be able to voluntary make contributions to this fund.
The amendments have been proposed by the regional Ministry of Road Facilities and Transport. The payments will be voluntary and unremunerated contributions.
As the president of the Chelyabinsk regional legislature, Vladimir Myakush, put it, following the adoption of these amendments, there will be a possibility to fill the fund from other sources.
According to the Chelyabinsk regional Ministry of Road Facilities and Transport, in 2015 the volume of the region's road fund totaled 9,1 bln rubles.
