The authorities of Yakutia, Russia’s Far Eastern Republic, has discussed with China Railway Construction Corporation Ltd. (CRCC) financing by the Chinese party of the bridge construction across the Lena River.
In 2013, CRCC have already participated in a tender for the construction of a bridge across the Lena River, the press office of Head of the Yakutia’s Republic told Construction.RU. But back then the Russian Government made a decision to postpone the project implementation to a later date.
China Railway Construction Corporation Ltd. specializes in the construction of railways, tunnels, bridges, as well as highways, airports and power plants.
Chinese investors intend to take part in design engineering and construction of the bridge across the Lena River. A detailed plan is to be prepared by the beginning of the Chinese-Russian EXPO-2016 in Yekaterinburg, which is scheduled for the mid-July.
