We should remind you that on the 27th of June, the press secretary of Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, announced that Head of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, sent a message to Vladimir Putin with excuses for downing of Russian SU-24 jet and extended his condolences and sympathy on the pilot’s death.
After that, Ankara assured the Russian party that it was ready to make up for the damage, inflicted by the Turkish air force. The incident took place on the 24th of November, 2015.
