Rehabilitation center for terror attacks victims to be constructed in Russian Caucasus

The authorities of Ingushetia, the Republic located in the North Caucasus region of Russia, consider a project to construct a special-purpose rehabilitation center for victims of terror attacks, the press office of the regional administration said on Tuesday, Interfax reports.




On the 28th of June, Head of Ingushetia, Yunus-bek Yevkurov, and Chairman of Board of Directors of Russian Pension Fund, Anton Drozdov, held a meeting, over the course of which Mr Yevkurov asked his conversation partner for assistance in implementation of the initiative to build a rehabilitation center for adults.

Head of the region indicated that there is a large number of invalids with mine-blast trauma and bullet wounds. These are officers of law-enforcement agencies, as well as civilians injured in terror attacks.

All of them have to seek treatment outside the region, whereas the construction of the facility will allow them to receive timely medical aid.
