According to the statement released by the press office of Moscow construction complex, approximately 200 km of additional railways are planned to be built in Moscow in the coming years.
So, within the framework of modernization of radial lines of the railways, the works on development of the additional lines are carried out in the following directions: Yaroslavl, Gorkov, Kazan, Paveletsk, Kursk and Smolensk, the statement says.
As it was reported earlier, the authorities of Moscow consider the option of the construction of new stations on the radial directions of the railways. In particular, additional stations are planned to be constructed on the Kiev and Kursk directions in the area of “New Moscow”.
