Six Flags Entertainment Corporation holds negotiations with a prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, on the project of the theme parks construction in the country, Middle East Eye reports.
The projects will be a part of "Vision 2030" economy liberalization plan.
“We are honored to have this opportunity to bring Six Flags to Saudi Arabia. We look forward to supporting Saudi Arabia’s efforts to expand tourism by creating new world-class entertainment destinations in the Kingdom”, - the US company’s website cites President and CEO of Six Flags, John Duffey.
Before the negotiations started, the Six Flags’ representatives had met with a deputy crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, who was a mover of "Vision 2030" economy liberalization plan in an effort to reduce kingdom’s dependence on oil revenues.
