For the first half of the year, 22,6% of all Moscow housing volume have been put into operation in the areas of industrial and utility zones, Head of the Moscow Urban Construction Policy Department, Sergey Lyovkin told Construction.RU on Friday.




According to him, this accounts for 29 objects with a total area of 740,000 sq.m. Over the similar period last year, about 25% or 1 m sq.m of housing have been put into operation.

“Complex development of urban territories is a priority. From the date that Russian President signed the federal law №373 on the 3rd of July, which regulated the development of territories of any functional use, the words “complex” and “persistent” take a new meaning, shifting from a category of recommendations to the field of signing and become mandatory”, added Sergey Lyovkin.
