Power company might cut electricity at the objects in Vostochny Cosmodrome in the Amur region, since no contract has been concluded for power supply, the press office of The Far Eastern Energy Company announced on Tuesday.
“A general contractor for the Vostochny Cosmodrome construction, Dalspetsstroy federal state unitary enterprise, informed The Far Eastern Energy Company that the Cosmodrome’s feeding unit had been excluded from the energy supply contract due to the termination of works. At the same time, the power supply agreement hasn’t been concluded with Operation Center for Objects of Ground-Based Space Infrastructure (TsENKI), which will exploit the facility”, - the press office told the reporters.
According to the power company, situation is created, in which neither the commissioner, nor the building contractor have contractual commitments to purchase power energy for the most important strategic facility.
