Russian Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev, announced his intention to convene next week an urgent meeting over the issue of road infrastructure in the Republic of Crimea.
Head of the Russian Government emphasized the necessity to improve the transport infrastructure of the southern regions of the Russian Federation and its communication with the entire system of Russian roads, TASS agency reports on Wednesday.
Dmitry Medvedev also reminded about a number of large-scale projects in the area of transport infrastructure of the country, which are being implemented with the use of the budgetary funds.
The largest one among these projects is the construction of a highway and railway bridge in the Republic of Crimea.
