Poland’s businessmen to build wood processing plant in Russia

Delegates from Poland’s Barlinek has discussed with the government of the Russian region of Kostroma the project of construction of a high-capacity wood processing plant in the area.




The Polish company’s delegation paid a working visit in the region, the regional press office told Construction.RU.

The nvestors visited Galichsky and Antropovsky districts to make an assessment of raw materials base for wood and paper products. Also, the negotiations with forest holders and wood processers were held.

Thus, Barlinek plans to establish in the Kostroma region an integrated wood processing plant with a capacity of 100,000 cubic meters of products annually.

The regional government promised to the investors to help to select proper suppliers and lessees, as well as endorsement on administrative issues.
