The authorities of the Tyumen region signed an agreement with an investor from Sweden on the construction the region’s largest complex processing added-value wood.
A number of foreign companies will take part in the project and will be united within Tyumen Timber Processing Complex, the regional press office told Construction.RU.
The project’s implementation will be carried out in stages. The construction site will be located in the Tobolsk district due to its good infrastructure, access to the federal highway and a favourable location in vicinity with timber-rich regions of Vagaisk and Uvatsk.
Implementation of the first stage of the project will take about two years. The investor will get tax benefits stipulated by the Tyumen regional legislation for the business.
