Japanese plans to construct port infrastructure in Russian Far East

Goyo Kensetsu, the Japanese construction company, considers possibility to invest in building of a port infrastructure in the Russian Far East, the company’s co-owner, Midzuno Yasihiro, said over the course of a meeting with a vice governor of the Primorye Territory, Sergey Nekhaev.




“Erection of terminals to accommodate large tourists steam ships and liners are one of the interesting directions for us”, - said the representative from Goyo Kensetsu, cited by the press office of Primorye regional administration.

The meeting has also been attended by president of U-Next Co. Ltd, Yasuhide Uno, and other entrepreneurs. The businessmen stressed that the Primorye Territory is extremely perspective for business activity there.

“We are interested in tourism and real estate sector. Japanese business is vigorously establishing manufacturing bases in China. But, unfortunately, there are no many successful examples, that is why we sincerely put hope on fruitful cooperation here, in the east of Russia”, - noted Yasuhide Uno.
