International Kurgan Airport project is put on the register of investment platforms in the Kurgan region, the regional government’s website reports.
According to the document, a total amount of investments in the project is estimated at 150m roubles. A cargo and passenger multiway checkpoint across the Russian border is planned to be created. Its design engineering has been completed and at present, an estimate documentation is being prepared.
The project realization will help to create over 60 jobs, cut the costs of airline passengers, as well as to increase investment attractiveness of the region.
“Kurgan” airport cooperates with “UTair” aviation company operating flights to Moscow, as well as with “Yamal” company, which is operating direct flights from Kurgan airport to Sochi and Simferopol from the 30th of June to the 1st of September.
