Workers laboring on a dumping ground in the northern Poland’s town of Kolobrzeg discovered €500,000 when sorting trash, which had been brought in from the private households of local residents.
The money was inside an old dust exhauster, which had got into a pile of trash brought to the site by a dump truck. The workers noticed a bundle of banknotes, when it fell from dust exhauster, Polish Deser Gazeta reported on Wednesday.
The workers called the police, which in its turn informed the local resident about the finding. Soon a woman arrived at the site and proved that it was her, who possesses that abovementioned money. The whole amount was returned to the woman.
