On Wednesday, on the 31st of August, Gazprom will hold negotiations in Turkey on resumption of the “Turkish Stream” project, a deputy Head of the Holding, Alexander Medvedev, told TASS agency.
“In fact, they (negotiations) are already underway, this process was launched at a meeting of the Economy Minister of Turkey and the Energy Minister of Russia. Agreements on the resumption of this project have already been reached. It’s planned that Alexey Miller (Head of Gazprom) would pay a visit to Turkey tomorrow,” he said.
Following the negotiations between Turkish President, Recep Erdogan, and Russian President, Vladimir Putin, a decision was made to resume the work over the “Turkish Stream”, set up a task team and develop a “road map”.
