Bakhchysarai city council made a decision to transfer to the Republic of Crimea approximately 97 hectares of the land located in a sanitary zone of Stroyindustriya integrated plant for the purpose to establish there an industrial park.

This is what the interim head of the Bakhchysarai city administration, Alexander Tryanov, told Crimea Inform on Friday.

“It’s forbidden to build there residential compounds, agricultural farms, the target purpose of the land is to locate there industrial facilities. It’s hard to determine the exact area, but it will approximately amount to 97 hectares,” he noted.

Alexander Tryanov also said that the project would be prepared over the course of the year.

Establishment of an industrial park on the territory of Bakhchysarai was initiated by the local city council in 2014.
