The authorities of the Sverdlovsk region allotted 177 hectares for the construction of the largest pig-breeding farm for 250,000 animals in the Serovsky district.
Over 1,200 additional jobs are planned to be created at the enterprise, the regional governor’s Information Policy Department told Construction.RU on the 9th of September.
A pig-breeding farm is designed to house 250,000 pigs. A land plot with an area of 177 hectares has been allotted for the construction site of this facility.
The Sverdlovsk region with population of over 4 million people is located in the Urals Federal District of Russia, at the border of its European and Asian parts. Most of the region is spread over the eastern slopes of the Middle and North Urals, as well as the Western Siberian Plain.
