The world’s highest bridge, situated 565 meters above the Nizhu River Canyon in the south of China, has been built this weekend, The Times of India reports citing local media.
This unique infrastructure object, which received the name of Beipanjiang, is located between the Chinese provinces of Yunnan and Guizhou. According to the schedule, the bridge is to be put into operation by year’s end.
The construction work has been carried out for three years with involvement of over a hundred of high-qualified workers.
As soon as the object is opened, it will become the world's highest bridge. We should remind you that last month China put into operation the world's longest and highest glass bridge, which is 430 meters long and 300 meters high.
