A presidium meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation devoted to development of transportation system of southern Russia will be chaired by President Vladimir Putin.
The meeting is scheduled to take place in the eastern Crimean city of Kerch on the 15th of September.
In particular, the measures aimed at complex development of transport infrastructure of the Southern Federal District’s subjects are planned to be discussed at the meeting, Kremlin’s press office told reporters on Wednesday.
This includes the creation of sections of international transport corridors, reconstruction and construction of the facilities of port, automobile, railway and airport infrastructure in accordance with the Transportation Strategy of Russia by the year of 2030.
Russian Prime Minister, Dmitry Medvedev, will also take part in the meeting.
