There are technical solutions necessary for construction of a large waste recycling plant in Saint Petersburg, however its building is impossible without investments, in which nobody is interested so far.
This is what professor of Russian Academy of Science and advisor of “Mekhanobor – Tekhnika” research and production company, Leonid Vaisberg, said at a press conference in Moscow, Interfax reports.
According to Leonid Vaisberg, there is no enough budgetary funds to implement this project and a private investor is needed.
“In addition, the city prefers large infrastructure projects – roads, tunnels, bridges, passages, energy. But they forget that the issue of waste recycling is as much crucial for life, as a burning bulb in the house,” the expert reminded.
