The authorities of the Russian Republic of Buryatia, located in Siberia, plan to construct an archery center to carrying out training of Russian archers for the Olympic Games in Japan, the press office of the regional government told Construction.RU on Tuesday.
The construction works are scheduled to start in 2017 and are planned to be completed by the end of the year 2018. A total amount of 200 million roubles are expected to be allocated from the federal budget foe this purpose.
Archery center will be located in the vicinity of the republic’s Central Stadium. At present, a plot of land for construction works is allotted and fenced.
Russian archers will train at that center, in order to take part in summer Olympic Games, which are to be held in Japan in 2020.
