Last week, the world’s largest plant producing automobile glass has been put into operation in the U.S. city of Moraine, Ohio, Dayton Daily News reports.
The facility has been built by Fuyao Glass America, a U.S. subsidiary of a Chinese corporation Fuyao Glass Industry Group.
In prospect, about 3,000 jobs will be created at the enterprise, Cho Tak Wong, Chairman of Board of Directors of Chinese Fuyao said at a press conference following the plant’s opening.
Fuyao Glass Industry Group has invested $600 million in a plant in Moraine and a total amount of $1 billion in its business in the United States, including enterprises in Illinois, Michigan and South Carolina.
