Annual forum of Russian-Finnish business representatives has opened today in Lotte Hotel in Moscow.




As our play-by-play correspondent, Maria Starostina, reports, owners and top-managers of 60 Finnish companies working in Russia take part in it. YIT, Ruukki, Lemminkainen, Isku, Uponor are among them. Embassador of Finland in Russia Mikko Hautala greeted the participants.

Director General of the AFPO holding, Aki Ojanen, delivered a report titled “Russian industry updating”. Director General of the TEKNOS GROUP holding, Paula Salastie spoke on sustainable solutions for paint coatings.

Within the forum framework, a press-conference took place. Answering the question of our correspondent, if the company intends to invest in Russia, Head of housing construction business segment in Russia, Teemu Helppolainen, said that it is the most suitable time for it.

Oleg Zuenko, Sales Director of the Ruukki Rus company, Henry Riihimiaki, CEO of the Finnish producer of energy saving windows and doors, Skaala, and Martti Huttunen, Head of Helsinki-center also spoke to journalists.

The Finnish Business forum is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Finnish-Russian Trade Chamber promoting trade between the two countries.
