Plant for assembly and repair of British JCB machinery opens in Solnechnogorsky district of the Moscow region. The investors allocated in the construction over 2 billion roubles and employed 500 people, says the message released by the regional administration’s press office.

The facility is located not far from Leningradskoye highway, in the vicinity of Yelino village.

The member of British Royal Family, a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain Prince Michael of Kent, attended the official opening ceremony. He highly praised an ongoing development of cooperation between JCB and Russian-British LONMADI company, which started more than 20 years ago.

As a reference, it was LONMADI that initiated construction of the plant.

The complex has been set up within the framework of an investment agreement. From 2014, investments into the project amounted 2,5 billion roubles. A total number of 500 jobs are expected to be created at the enterprise.

British JCB, the world's third-largest construction equipment manufacturer, produces equipment for construction, agriculture, waste handling and demolition.
