Russian Ministry of Economic Development proposes to privatize the shares of the company building Innopolis IT-city in Tatarstan and KZSK-Silikon over the period of 2017 – 2019, according to privatization plan prepared by the governmental body.
Thus, 97,46% of JSC Innopolis shares are planned to be put up for sale. The company’s equity capital amounts to 4,9 billion roubles, most portion of which was invested by Russian Ministry for Communications and the Media. One more shareholder is JSC Innopolis City.
Innopolis is an IT-city with a total area of 2,200 hectares, which is located near Kazan, the capital city of the Russian Republic of Tatarstan. The city will house 155,000 people, including 60,000 IT technicians.
We should remind you that a special economic zone of a technology and innovation type has been created in Innopolis.
