Finnish realtors indicate a growing demand of Russian buyers for Finland’s real estate, while it was decreasing the previous years, Yle TV channel reports.
According to regional Yle’s branch in the Finnish town of Lappeenranta, the local real estate agents have noticed a growing interest from Russians to housing in Finland. “We haven’t seen the demand on the part of Russian for a long time, but this autumn they began to ask for our assistance in real property purchase again,” the TV channel cites SKV Imatra’s sales director.
Russian clients submit their requests to SKV Imatra on a weekly basis. Recently, a number of transactions have been concluded. According to Finish realtors, Russians are interested in different kinds of housing. Detached homes are mostly bought for the personal use.
