Over the course of a session of a Japanese-Russian working group over the issues of urban environment, the decision to establish a sub-group supervising “Comfortable Voronezh” pilot project was taken.




As Deputy Head of Russian Construction Ministry Andrey Chibis said on the 14th of November, experience gained from this project will be taken in consideration at the creation federal standards for urban environment development in Russia.

A joint work over improvement of urban environment has become one of top eight priorities of cooperation between two countries.

Interaction in the area of the development of comfortable urban environment has turned out be more intensive last months. Japanese technologies will be implemented in the Russian city of Voronezh and following a test period their efficiency will be evaluated in order to expand their implementation to the whole territory of Russia.
