By the year 2020, three industrial parks are planned to be created in Russian city of Belgorod, deputy head of the Economic Development Department at the city administration, Konstantin Likhonin, told reporters on Thursday.
“Vostochny” industrial park located on the place of the former vitamin integrated plant provides for chemical and pharmaceutical direction of development.
“At present, Petrokhim JSC, Polisintez LLC, PikPharmaKhim LLC, VeroPharm PJSC are operating at this site. They will be able to act as anchor investors. Investments of these companies in expansion of their production will amount to 2,5 billion rubles until the end of the current year,” Konstantin Likhonin said.
A total 10 resident can be located on the 33,4 hectare territory adjacent to the integrated plant.
