Valio, a Finnish manufacturer of dairy products and one of the largest companies in Finland, plans to set up new production building in the Odintsov district situated in the Moscow region, Russia, between 2017 – 2018, a deputy head of the Moscow region’s government, Denis Butsaev, told reporters on Friday.
“At present, volume of new production building is being negotiated. That is why amount of investment is subject to further consideration. The matter concerns a new line. The same food staples are planned to be released there, mostly diary products, processed cheese,” Denis Butsaev told reporters following a meeting with Finish delegation.
According to him, the company will launch a new production line in the near two years. Cumulative investment in the project implementation has already exceeded 63 million euro. Assortment of the products released by Valio in the Moscow region includes over 120 commodity items.
