Investors have allocated over 50 billion rubles ($779 million) in the development of Moscow technology parks, Mayor of the Russian capital city, Sergey Sobyanin, said on Thursday during his visit to “Kalibr” technopark in the north east of the city.
“Moscow technology parks continue to develop. Over the course of the last years, 56 billion rubles have been invested in them. Mostly, these are private investments,” Mayor said.
Sergey Sobyanin noted that “Kalibr” technopark offers a clear example of growth dynamics in this field. A private technopark “Kalibr” gained a corresponding status in February last year. The complex is located in the area of 10 hectares and has 28,500 square meters of industrial space, which is currently 93% filled.
