Engineers from Japanese Nikken Sekkei institution might be engaged in designing “Ryazanskaya” transfer hub in Southeastern Administrative District of the capital city of Russia, a Deputy Mayor of Moscow for urban construction policy, Marat Khusnullin, announced today.
“This will be a large hub connecting a metro line, a railway, the Moscow Ring Road and flows of passenger traffic on surface network. At present, we are working out an option to involve engineers from Japanese project institution, Nikken Sekkei, in development of the hub model,” said Marat Khusnullin.
He reminded that the transfer hub would become the largest one not just in Moscow, but in the country on the whole.
Construction of underground parking, office and hotel centers, as well as retail outlets is envisaged by the plan.
