All alcohol sales outlets have been closed in the Russian Republic of Chechnya, following a major car accident, which took lives of seven people, the head of the emergency operations center for prevention of accidents, the Chairman of the Republican Parliament, Mohammed Daudov, announced on Thursday.
“After the recent car accident at “Kavkaz” federal highway, the entrepreneurs engaged in alcohol sales have voluntary refused to go on their activity,” Mohammed Daudov said at a meeting with the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov. The meeting was devoted to the issues of death and injury rates on the roads of the Chechen Republic.
According to him, there was 20 alcohol sales outlets on the territory of the Republic.
