The Russian Government has handed over 43 hectares of forests in the Klinsky District of the Moscow region for the construction of M-11 toll road from Moscow to Saint Petersburg, as it follows from the governmental decree published on the official website for legal information.

Forest lands transferred to a category of lands of industry, energy and transport to ensure the construction of Moscow-Petersburg motorway, the document says.

M-11 federal motorway has been under construction since 2011. It is meant to be a toll road from Moscow to Saint Petersburg with a total length of almost 700 kilometers. A public and private partnership model in the form of concession agreement was first applied to it.
