The Energy Ministry of Russia has not yet issued recommendations regarding the level of oil production, the head of Lukoil PJSC, Russia's largest oil company, Vagit Alekperov, told reporters on Wednesday.
“We have not received recommendations”, - Alekperov said, answering the question on whether the company had received from the Energy Ministry recommendations over oil production cut.
On Wednesday, the Energy Minister Alexander Novak held a meeting with the heads of Russian oil companies to discuss oil production cuts under the expected agreement with Organization of Petroleum-Exporting Countries (OPEC).
Following the meeting, Vagit Alekperov also noted that he supported a stance of the Energy Ministry of Russia.
