The Government of the Republic of Bashkiria signed a memorandum of cooperation with Italian company Inalca S. p.A, Rbc.ru reports on Thursday.
The company's president Luigi Cremonini attended a signing ceremony in Ufa, the capital city of Bashkiria.
As follows from the document, from 2017 to 2018, the Italians will construct seven high-tech feedlots for 3,000 cattle each on the territory of the Republic. Meanwhile, in the short-term perspective, Italian company will elaborate a plan for construction of meat processing complex.
As a Vice-Premier of the Bashkiria’s government in charge of agriculture, Irek Muhametdinov, explained, the southern regions of the Republic are being considered for a construction site. While the future meat processing complex will be located in the northern part of Bashkiria.
