Last night, police colonel Yury Timchenko, Head of the Inherent Security Department of the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs in North-Western Federal District was taken in custody in Saint-Petersburg.




As TASS reports, he is suspected of receiving a bribe of 100m roubles. No other details are reported, but the high rank police officer is known to have been cultivated for half a year. One of his subordinates has also been arrested.

FCB have collected a serious evidentiary foundation of his corruptional crimes. Timchenko’s arrest was authorized by the top authorities.

Allegedly, his corruption affairs were connected with business supervision, including construction.
