Government Committee of Transport headed by Vice-Premier Arkady Dvorkovich adopted the project of a new air passenger terminal in Khabarovsk.
Ministry for Development of Russian Far East has reported on its website today, the “Novy” airport complex in Khabarovsk international airport will be constructed within the framework of private-public partnership.The air field and airport complex are being reconstructed now. The new airport with the area of 26,180 m sq. will be built with private investment.
The building’s capacity will Зbe up to 3m passengers a year, it will include a hotel, an exhibition and business centers.
The investment totals 4.2 bln roubles ($66.25m). The complex is to be put in operation in 2019.
The second stage of reconstruction in 2021-2025 will add an international sector for 2.3 bln roubles ($36.3m) to the airport complex.
