Establishing a special economic zone (SEZ) “Uzlovaya” in the Tula region, in Russia, will attract more than 17 billion rubles ($280 million) of private investment, the press office of the Development Corporation of the Tula region reported on Wednesday.




“During the 10 years, the regime of a special economic zone will allow to create over three thousand jobs and attract more than 17 billion rubles of private investments, as well as more than 8 billion roubles of tax revenues in budgets of all levels” – the statement cites the First Deputy of the General Director of the Corporation, Valentin Zarubin.

He noted that four companies would receive the status of resident of the special economic zone by the end of 2016.
