Mills Studio, a London-based company, has transformed a cell in the old monastery of Krakow into a modern, minimalist apartment, Dezeen reports on Wednesday.

Mills Studio, founded by two sisters Jane and Christy Mills, used bright colors, diluted with vivid details among the pieces of furniture in interior design. As a result, they got a spacious apartment with bright walls and free layout — the sisters tried to do without interior walls.

The living room serves the function of a library, with a ladder on wheels attached to the high racks. In order to add vitality to the room, the designers put an emphasis on the mustard-yellow armchair, brown sofa and black coffee table.
